An Alaki is a large beast of burden found in the kingdom of Loria.

They share features in common with an elk and a mountain sheep. They are about the size of a large elk with similar cervid features. They have well developed dewclaws to assist in navigating the mountainous terrain.

One of their more notable features is their large, single branching horn (It is a horn, not an antler; they do not shed them). Their horn is thick but hollow, and they can channel air through it to produce a sonorous call. Each alaki has a unique horn, and gives them a unique note. Alaki can recognize each other or members of their family group based on these calls from across a wide range.

Their coat colors range in colors from greys or whites to a deeper russet brown.
